EastEnders exit for fan favourite as they turn on their family in explosive scenes

EASTENDERS is lining up a shock exit for Sam Mitchell after she turned on brother Phil in tonight’s explosive episode.

The legendary character - who is played by actress Kim Medcalf in the BBC soap - looks set to flee Walford after blackmailing her brother and then blowing up his marriage to Kat Slater.

Earlier this week Sam was shocked to discover that Phil was hiding her inheritance from her Aunt Sal and refusing to hand it over to her.

She demanded the cash but he refused, forcing her to play dirty.

And after discovering Phil had been unfaithful to Kat with Lola Pearce’s mum Emma, Sam found her blackmail material and demanded the cash to keep her quiet.

Phil eventually agreed - but not before insulting Sam and telling her to leave Walford once she’s got her cash.

Facing down her brother, Sam was furious at his words and his demands that she leave Walford.

She warned him that she wasn’t going to be pushed around and that she’ll leave him something to remember her by when she leaves.

Having pocketed the cash, walking up to the mic for the karaoke party, Sam told Kat and the other guests exactly what she wanted.

Meanwhile across the bar Phil was lying to Kat, insisting he was hiding nothing from her.

As the pair reconciled, they were interrupted by Sam on the mic.

“You’re going to be pleased to hear that I’m not going to sing, I just want to say a few words,” Sam said as she interrupted their moment.

“First of all, happy birthday to Phil and Kat. Come on let’s give them a really big hand.

“I don’t know where to start. What can I say about my big brother Phil… Look at him. All those achievements, all those kids. 

“I lose track of their names sometimes. Different women, different girlfriends, different wives. Kat, congratulations, you are the latest on a very long list. 

“But sadly not the last. Ain’t that right, Phil? Because that would be Emma. Lola’s mum. Or was she just a fling? To Phil and Kat - the perfect couple.”

Phil looked furious while Kat looked devastated but will Sam manage to escape Walford?
