THE MASKED Singer’s Rita Ora made a guess so ridiculous it had to be cut from the show, Joel Dommett has revealed.
Host Joel, 38, explained how pop star Rita, 33, claimed the late Muhammad Ali was performing inside one of the costumes.
But much to her surprise, the legendary boxer passed away in 2016 from septic shock after being hospitalied with a respiratory illness.
He explained on Chris Moyles' Radio X show today, "This is a classic Rita Ora. Think it might have been the first series, might have been the second.
"Someone was on, I can't remember who, and she genuinely - and there was no joke behind this - this was her serious guess. She thought it was Muhammad Ali."
After they erupted into laughter, Joel added: "I love her so much. I think it had to be cut from the show for various reasons."

The fifth season of the singing competition kicked off in December with a character called the Maypole.
And fans speculated that it was Rita behind the mask as she was conspicuously absent from her usual spot.
Stand up comedian Mo Gilligan was the first to voice the theory, saying: "I think it might be Rita Ora."
Viewers across the UK took to X to share the sentiment.
