HOLLYOAKS fans have been left stunned after three former EastEnders stars reunited on the soap.
The E4 soap recently revealed that Rita Simons had joined the soap as a new character called Marie, the mother of Joel Dexter.
Rita is best known for her role as Roxy Mitchell in EastEnders, which she played from 2007 until the character's shock death in 2017.
Her new soap gig will see her reunite with two of her former co-stars, including her EastEnders on screen mum, Glynis Barber.
Glynis, 68, joined Hollyoaks in 2022 as Norma Crow, two years after Richard Blackwood signed up to play Felix Westwood.
Richard, 51, had played Vincent Hubbard in EastEnders from 2015 to 2018, while Glynis played Glenda Mitchell from 2010 to 2011 and again from 2016 to 2017.

It meant at one point, all three Hollyoaks stars appeared in the BBC soap together, and one die hard soap fan has found a clip of them together.
Posting it on social media, they wrote: "The fact that these three are now sharing scenes in Hollyoaks."
In reply, another fan tweeted: "this is mad!" while a fellow viewer added: "At least now I can watch Hollyoaks and pretend Norma is Glenda and Marie is Roxy. It’s kind of like having her back?"
Meanwhile another begged: "Bring em back EE!!"

This would be a pretty tall order for EastEnders considering Roxy's watery death at New Year in 2017 alongside sister Ronnie.
And Vincent had an equally grisly exit after being killed by the hitmen of Aidan Maguire.
Hollyoaks airs on E4.
