Casa Amor star reveals she turned down Love Island All Stars and leaks ITV emails begging her to sign up

A LOVE Island bombshell has revealed she turned down a place on the All Stars series after she considered faking being single.

Season three stunner Shannen McGrath, 30, contemplated a show return, but after talking it through with her boyfriend Luke Talbot, couldn't bring herself to pretend to date another man.

Sharing messages and emails from production staff, Shannen wrote on social media: "I was actually asked to do it and did a Zoom call and stuff. And I'm going to be very honest for career wise I was going to go on and stay in my relationship on the outside world, as you know that happens a lot on Love Island [side-eye emoji].

"And myself and Luke spoke about it a lot but it wasn't for me in the end. I decided that ship had sailed regarding Love Island and I'm too content now to do that!

"I also find it weird about the relationship thing. I wouldn't have been able to do it! Was nice to be asked though."

The reality star first opened up about her romance with her childhood friend in early 2020 afer relationships with Geordie Shore's Ricci Guarnaccio and late Love/Hate star Dano Doyle.

She said: “I’m loved up. We know each other years. We were friends at the age of 15 and then rekindled things during the summer, shortly after the Ricci thing.

“You have to kiss a few frogs to find a prince. The first person I opened up to in a friendship sense was Ricci and that ended up being a relationship so I felt hard done by when it went wrong.

“Finding Luke now, I feel like it all worked out for the best in the end.”

Last night's All Stars series kicked off in dramatic fashion with viewers voting to partner the singletons up.
