Masked Singer’s Dippy Egg ‘revealed’ as BBC radio star by fans who claim ‘all the clues point to him’
FANS of the Masked Singer are convinced they have unmasked one of the mystery characters.
They shared their theory that the breakfast egg is BBC Radio host Nicky Campbell after hearing them singing Shotgun by George Ezra on Saturday night.
One fan wrote on X/Twitter: "Dippy Egg - Nicky Campbell."
Another added: "Bigfoot - Alex Brooker Cricket - Lemarr Maypole -Rita Ora Dippy Egg - Nicky Campbell."
A third penned: "MaskedSingerUK - I'm behind on this, but I think Dippy Egg is Nicky Campbell .
"There's a clip of Davina screaming at a reveal and I think it will be this one as they work together on Long Lost Family and she didn't know it was him. He was also on BBC Strictly."

Meanwhile over on reddit, another user was also convinced, adding: "All the clues point to him!"
Nicky is best-known for hosting ITV's Long Lost Family with Masked Singer judge Davina McCall which was one of the clues that led viewers to believe he's behind the mask.
TV-wise, the 62-year-old was the face of the popular gameshow Wheel of Fortune from 1988 to 1996, he was also a regular host of Top of the Pops from 1988 until 1997.
Some fans also speculated that Dippy Egg was the England former footballer Peter Crouch.
One viewer claimed: "It sounds like Peter Crouch."
A second said: "That's Crouchy on the mic."
One more echoed: "Crouchy, I listen to his podcast, it's him."
