Last year's explosive series saw one groom kicked off the show for fighting

MARRIED At First Sight star Luke Worley has revealed the new series of the reality show is filming now.

The 2023 groom revealed yesterday how couples are currently tying the knot on the E4 programme that sees singletons paired up with a partner at the altar.

He wrote on Instagram: "MAFS UK 2024 weddings start filming today - good luck to all the brides and grooms."

Luke married Jay Howard on the show last year but their marriage failed to blossom in the real world.

The pair hit it off instantly and quickly became one of the strongest couples.

And it remained rosy for the majority of the series until Luke came to blows with bitter rival Jordan Gayle after accusing him of badmouthing his relationship behind his back.

Luke was swiftly removed from the experiment and, as a result, Jay's time came to an end too.

The pair went away on a romantic holiday together but when they returned it became apparent it wasn't working.

Jay accused Luke of not putting in the effort needed to make the long-distance relationship work by taking days to contact her, and she called it a day.

The pair have no bad words to say about each other though and remain friends.

Meanwhile, Luke's charity boxing grudge match with Jordan was recently cancelled after the fight's promoter questioned Luke's commitment and lack of preparation.

Writing on Instagram, DKM Plush put: "It is with deep regret we announce that the scheduled bout between Luke Worley & Jordan Gayle has been cancelled by ourselves.

"Boxing can be a brutal, unforgiving sport & due to the comments outside of training for the scheduled bout, we have concerns that Luke hasn't been able to train as we would expect from him worthy of a 5 x 2 min bout on February 9th.

"We understand that on the back of reality shows, there are comments & opportunities that are only available for a while.

"The time in the spotlight off the back of taking part in such a series is short lives & we understand that comment to a regulated training camp is hard to maintain.

"However, as much as we understand the busy schedules of both fights, we would still expect a full camp to take place to ensure both are ready to enter the ring on Feb 9th & unfortunately, this hasn't been the case for Luke."

They continued: "Whilst we regret this bout between Luke and Jordan will not take place, we are happy to announce that Jordan will still be fighting on the action-packed card & a new opponent will be announced in the coming days."
