BBC Breakfast fans were thrilled today as Carol Kirkwood returned for her first show since her wedding - but Sally Nugent was missing for her big moment.
Carol, 61, revealed she had tied the knot with husband Steve Randall just days after Christmas in a small, stunning ceremony.
The star has been off screen since her big day, enjoying her first weeks as a newlywed, but finally returned to work on Monday's show.
Carol's colleague Jon Kay was quick to ask Carol about her big day as pictures appeared on screen.
He said: "Lovely pictures there of you and Steve, have you just had the most fantastic time?"
Carol replied: "Jon, I cannot tell you how fabulous it's been.

"You shouldn't really be talking like this about your own wedding, but it was blissful, it was romantic, it was absolutely perfect. I would not change a thing about the day.
"It was very small and intimate as well so you didn't have to worry that Auntie Nelly didn't have a glass of sherry in her hand, you know that kind of thing. It was brilliant."
Jon cheekily asked: "Does that mean you had all the sherry?"
Carol giggled and replied: "You know me far too well."

Jon's co-host Sarah Campbell then told Carol: "Aww Carol it's just so lovely having you back, and congratulations again."
One person who was missing from the post-wedding discussions was Sally Nugent, who usually hosts the show on Monday's alongside Jon, 54.
Sally, 52, has been on holiday in the Maldives and was replaced by Sarah, who had stood in for her earlier this month as well.
BBC Breakfast viewers were delighted to see Carol back on their screens and took to X - formerly Twitter - to tell her.
One wrote: "Good morning Carol congratulations and welcome back."
Another tweeted: "Good morning Carol ..it looked like you had an amazing day ...you looked really lovely ..very classy and elegant. Congratulations to you both."
A third added: "Congratulations on the wedding carol nice to see you back."
Carol replied to all her fans, tweeting: "THANK YOU for your lovely wedding wishes. It meant a lot to us.
