Man of the moment Luke, 16, captured the nation's hearts on his way to a historic World Darts Championship final this month where he ultimately lost out to Luke Humphries, 28.
While the fairy tale ending to the memorable tournament wasn't to be, Luke is now well and truly on the radar of every sports fan in the country.
One such fan is actor Alan, 41, who looked delighted to meet the teen sensation.
Sharing a picture of them together on Instagram, he joked: "Dad & lad day out."
Such was the similarity between the two, despite the 25 year age gap, that some unaware fans genuinely believed they were related.
