Dancing on Ice’s Ryan Thomas’ place on the show hanging in the balance as he’s ‘wounded’ just days before launch
RYAN Thomas has been dealt a huge blow ahead of his Dancing on Ice debut after being "wounded" during training.
Dancing on Ice returns next week with a new bunch of famous skaters and Ryan, 39, will be competing with Amani Fancy.
The pro skater took to Instagram today to share a clip of former Coronation Street star Ryan with an ice pack on his shoulder.
She wrote: "The wounded @ryanthomas84."
But assuring fans he would be ok in time for the first live show, Amani added: "Don't worry everyone, they're just sore."
It's not the first time Ryan has suffered a mishap while preparing to perform.

During a recent appearance on This Morning, Amani revealed he'd had a "nasty fall" on the ice.
Amani then explained that they're training hard to avoid another accident on ice.
She added: "I mean we've got a long journey ahead of us, we need to make sure that what happened in practice a few weeks ago doesn't happen in the live shows - which was quite a tough fall.
"But it's not easy, they've got to lift us, they've got a life in their hands.
It comes after fellow competitor Amber Davies suffered a horror injury resulting in being rushed to rehab.
After it was revealed they'd be skating together, Amani took to Instagram to share her excitement ahead of the new series.
Posting a series of pics with the actor, she wrote: "I’ve honestly been hoping for this pairing since the @dancingonice line up came out after watching an interview Ryan was on, to the point where I’ve nagged production to tell me if it was him countless times but had no luck until today."
Amani added: "I’m so proud to be your partner and cannot wait to see you thrive and become the skater I know you can be. Who knows, maybe we won’t be able to tell who the professional is by the end of the competition."
