Cracks form among The Six in EastEnders as Walford criminals turn on each other in vicious showdown

EASTENDERS fans have been left shocked after the remaining members of The Six turned on each other in a vicious showdown.

The six women - Suki, Stacey, Denise, Sharon, Linda and Kathy - have been struggling with the aftermath of Christmas Day, when Keanu ended up dead on the floor of the Vic.

The women made a pact to cover up the death as it incriminated all of them, and they hid the body in the burned out cafe.

But Sharon - who was supposed to marry Keanu on the day he died - has since fled to Australia, and last night, the remaining five women buried Keanu's body further under the cafe floor and then covered it up with cement.

However, tonight's episode saw Denise realise the 'D' necklace she always wears was missing, and had been buried with the body after she had been pushed into the hole the night before during a scuffle with Linda.

Denise struggled to hide her distress from her loved ones, and eventually found herself in the cafe trying to smash her way back through the concrete to get to her necklace and remove the incriminating evidence.

The other four women soon found her and told her to stop, but a desperate Denise begged them to help her.

But Kathy told her: "What are the builders going to think when they come in and see the floor's been messed with again?"

Suki added: "She's right, we got away with it once, we won't be that lucky next time."

A tearful Denise said: "Come on, that's not fair, it's not even my fault!"

But Kathy reminded she had hit Nish round the head with a bottle the same night Keanu died and that she needed to "get a grip".

Stacey then said they were all struggling and she as holding it together for her kids, but Denise suddenly shouted: "I can't even look at my kids! Let alone my own husband!!!"

But Kathy had little sympathy, having shopped her spouse Rocky to the police for starting the cafe fire, saying: "At least you've got a husband, I had to turn mine in."

Denise then clashed with Linda, saying she was the one who had stabbed Keanu, but she replied: "Don't you think I know that?!

"But we made a pact, Denise, including you. To help each other. And everyone else here is prepared to stand by that."

Kathy then asked: "Are you with us? Because right now, you seem to be the only one pulling in the other direction."

Denise replied: "Because I'm the only one with evidence on that body!"

But Kathy warned her: "And you do well to remember that Denise, because if you don't fall into line, I will dig that body up myself and make sure you cop the blame for everything!

"That body stays buried, do you understand?"

As Denise started to sob over what was happening, EastEnders viewers took to X - formerly Twitter - to discuss the fallout between the women.

One wrote: "Right so Kathy is having a go at Denise saying she's the one not looking out for the rest of the 6 …when Kathy is literally the one threatening to blame it all on Denise. Poor Denise :(."

Another added: "I take it all back, Kathy’s gone from clueless wonder to criminal mastermind boss b***h in less than a fortnight."

A third tweeted: "This is why they should’ve told the truth, look how they’re not helping Denise."

Meanwhile a fourth commented: "I actually feel sorry for Denise by the end of tonight’s episode. “Help each other” the six day get they are willing to let Denise take the blame. Seems unfair to me."

Kathy told Denise she would make sure she took the fall for the murder if she didn't sort herself out
