Bradley Walsh sparks health concerns after ‘poorly, hoarse’ appearance on ITV’s The Chase
THE Chase presenter Bradley Walsh sparked health fears after he appeared unwell and had a hoarse voice on the latest episode.
The 63-year-old TV veteran has been presenting the ITV gameshow since 2009 and has become a fan favourite among viewers.
After the January 10 instalment of The Chase aired, fans of the show took to X(Twitter) and expressed their concerns for Bradley as he appeared to be looking "weak" and a little under the weather.
Taking to the social media platform, one viewer asked: “Is Brad alright? He sounds a little… off. #TheChase.”
Another added: “Bradley's voice sounds weak. I'm surprised no one has mentioned it #thechase."
A third asked: “What's happened to Bradley's Voice? #TheChase."
Another chimed: “@BradleyWalsh sounds quite poorly. He voice sounds a little hoarse #TheChase."
While a fifth person penned: “I honestly thought we had a different presenter for #TheChase what's happened to Bradley's voice lol”, as another urged “Bradley needs a Lemsip. #thechase."
During Wednesday’s episode, while Bradley’s voice seemed to be the centre of attention, it was evident that the contestants gave chaser Jenny Ryan a run for her money.
Three out of four players quickly made it through the rounds and went to the final.

The team had £18,000 in the pot as they took on The Vixen, but Keith, an airline pilot, was the only one to be knocked out in the first round.
Ultimately, they answered 18 questions correctly, but more was needed to defeat Jenny, who caught them with just 14 seconds on the clock.
The Vixen started slowly but gradually picked up the pace and answered a whole batch of questions correctly.
At one point, Jenny left Bradley stunned after she paused to ask him for the spelling of a question while there was loads of time remaining on the clock.
As the round concluded, the ITV host told the remaining three contestants: "That was impressive that. Fourteen seconds remaining equates to four and a half seconds.
"We would have had to get 19 to catch her, and the Chaser even stopped and asked for a spelling, that's rare, and that's how much time we'd got there. Sadly, I've got to take the £18k away and tell you the Chase is over."
Alongside his work on The Chase, Bradley will be hosting the rebooted Gladiators show this Saturday.
The TV personality will be presenting the physically challenging show alongside his son Barney following the success of their popular series Breaking Dad, which saw the father and son duo go on road trips in different countries and try their hand at dare-devil activities.
Unfortunately, the duo won’t last long on the show, as Bradley confirmed that the new Gladiators series is a one-off.
He told the Mirror: "We said we'd do this show as it's a one-off. And we had to talk Barney into doing it.
