Strictly fans ‘work out’ the real reason behind Giovanni Pernice’s feud with star who said he made her ‘cry every day’
STRICTLY Come Dancing fans have claimed they know the real reason Laura Whitmore claimed Giovanni Pernice made her "cry every day".
The show professional has come under fire from his dance partners over his behaviour during their time on the show.
Actress Amanda Abbingdon allegedly told pals their tense relationship in the latest series left her with post-traumatic stress disorder.
Whilst TV presenter Ranvir Singh and Faye Tozer lodged complaints in past series over his boot camp methods.
Meanwhile, radio presenter Ritchie Anderson, who teamed up with the dancer in 2022, unfollowed Gio on Instagram.
And The Sun revealed bosses secretly had a meeting with Giovanni, 33, about his conduct last year, but no action was taken.

But back in 2016, ex-Love Island presenter Laura said she was “broken” by her time with him.
And she revealed her time on the show with him reduced her to tears.
She said: "I was placed with a dance partner I was extremely uncomfortable with and in the end I felt broken, I cried every day."
Speaking on Private Parts podcast, she added: "What I didn't like was being removed from everybody and having to spend 12 hours a day with this one person.

"It did not become about the dancing. I just wanted to dance.
"I did not want to play the game of doing red carpets with your dance partner and stuff like that, which a lot of people thought you should be doing. I did not want to do that."
However, Strictly fans have since claimed the star had an issue with Giovanni because he dated her pal and his former dance partner Georgia May Foote.
One shared their theory on Reddit and said: "I mean to be fair. The Laura Whitmore thing was less about his personality and more that he was her friend’s ex - I’m not surprised either of them felt uncomfortable and I lay the blame completely on the producers for that one."
One more said: "Tbf the Laura thing is a totally different story, because she was a good friend of his ex so obviously that’s not easy."
Giovanni's exes also include former dane partner and ex-Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts and Love Island star Maura Higgins.
Good Morning Britain host Ranvir first hinted at trouble between the pair shortly after rehearsals began for the 2020 series.
They managed to make it to the semi-finals and narrowly missed out on a spot in the final three.
