EASTENDERS fans have been left open-mouthed after a legendary character fled the Square to reunite with a Walford icon.
Six matriarchs of the Square had their lives changed forever on Christmas Day when Keanu Taylor was stabbed and killed.
Linda Carter delivered the fateful blow as she tried to save best friend Sharon Watts, while Denise Fox had bashed Nish Panesar over the head with a bottle to help his wife Suki, and Kathy Cotton and Stacey Slater were also witness to the drama.
The Six - as they have become known - have had to work together to cover up the murder and what happened that day, but all of them are struggling in the aftermath.
They got a shock during Monday's episode when builders turned up at the cafe - where they had stored Keanu's body - ready to start work.
They decided they needed to move the body again, but Sharon - who had been set to marry Keanu on Christmas Day - insisted she couldn't face seeing him in his current state two weeks on from his death.

Tonight, the women met up again after Nish woke up and claimed not to remember what happened to him.
They also discussed the situation with Keanu's body but were perturbed that they couldn't get hold of Sharon.
That was because Sharon - played by Letitia Dean - had decided to flee the Square with her son Albie, and was seen heading to the Tube station.
She told her little boy: "We're going to the airport, that's exciting isn't it? And while we're waiting you can watch all the planes take off."

Albie asked: "Are we going to see daddy?"
Sharon faltered and replied: "No sweetheart, it's just me and you, but we're going to have lots of fun, my little man."
Later in the Minute Mart, Stacey called Sharon and left a message asking where she was, before she bumped into Zack.
But she got a shock when he told her: "It was a bit of a rush wasn't it? She left earlier, packed her bags and took Albie out to Australia to see Michelle."
Taking to X - formerly Twitter - to discuss Sharon's latest move, one EastEnders fan wrote: "Sharon really said I’m not moving the body and flew out to Australia."
Another added alongside a gif of someone saying 'You're in Australia?': "Five of The Six to Sharon."
A third tweeted: "What is this? Rather sudden isn’t it?"
Meanwhile a fourth tweeted: "Yes, it’s so easy to swan off to Australia. It’s not as if you need a visa or anything."
EastEnders airs on BBC One and is available on BBC iPlayer.
