EMMERDALE fans have called out the soap for a 'really silly' move - and branded the ITV set 'cursed'.
Monday's episode saw Charity Dingle struggling with shooting villain Harry on Christmas Day, while also being blindsided by the arrival of Oscar, the grandson she never knew existed.
Meanwhile Bob Hope was also battling his grief following the tragic death of his teen son Heath on New Year's Day.
But some Emmerdale fans were too distracted by the decorations behind the characters in a number of scenes.
Indeed, Charity and Mack still have their Christmas tree up in the home, as does the back room of The Woolpack and Kim Tate's living room at Wood Farm.
The B&B was also still covered in festive decorations, while even the outside scenes saw the village Christmas tree still in pride of place, while Christmas lights hung down the street.

Considering the episode aired on January 8, and Christmas decorations traditionally should be taken down by twelfth night on January 5, Emmerdale viewers were not impressed.
Taking to X - formerly Twitter - one wrote: "Charity I love you but take your Christmas decorations down."
Another added: "Soap bosses know exactly when each episode is scheduled. Still having all the Christmas decorations up on January 8th makes the show look really silly."
A third tweeted a gif which read: "This place is cursed. cursed" and captioned it: "No wonder Emmerdale is such a doomed place to live, everyone still has their Christmas decorations up."

Meanwhile a fourth raged: "Scenes of distress! F***ing Christmas Tree still up."
A fellow Emmerdale viewer joked: "They might as well keep the Christmas decor up till this December."
Emmerdale airs on ITV1 and is available on ITVX.
