Greg first went public with Clair Nuttal in July 2022 but it seems that the romance has come crashing down.

Manchester-based Clair is an award winning documentary filmmaker having worked on a range of short films and TV shows and seemed more loved up than ever with partner Greg when they shared a slew of heart-warming snaps with one another on Instagram.

However, the 43 year old actor has now seemingly ended things with his former partner for good.

Greg has wiped any trace of his former partner from his Instagram feed, deleting many of their cosy selfies with each other as well as unfollowing her on the site.

The ITV soap star has also been un-tagged in any group snaps featuring the pair together following the split.

A representative for Greg did not return The Sun's requests for comment on the split.

Greg's Corrie character, the evil loan shark Rick was killed by Gary Windass (Mikey North) in Coronation Street in early 2019.

It followed a slew of dodgy dealing from the star over his years in Weatherfield.

His character was also the father of Kelly, played by Doctor Who star Millie Gibson.

Gary killed the villain in self-defence and he managed to hide his grizzly secret for over a year before things began to unravel.

It is not Greg's only villainous role with the actor appearing in Hollyoaks as Trevor Royle.

In 2013, he crossed over to the Chester-based soap to play gangster Trevor - where he remained until 2016, causing havoc across the village.

Since exiting the cobbles in 2019, Greg was cast in a leading role in The Best Man with the Walnut Street Theatre.

He also joined the cast of Sky comedy Brassic alongside fellow Corrie alum, Michelle Keegan.
