CORONATION Street star Simon Gregson has revealed the humorous nickname he has for his on-screen daughter Elle Mulvaney, who plays Amy McDonald on the ITV soap.
During the latest celebrity special of Deal or No Deal, the actor and fellow members of the Corrie cast took on the banker.
Stephen Mulhern presented Sunday’s instalment of the rebooted ITV gameshow, which welcomed Simon as the second celebrity to join following Michael Owens's appearance.
The Steve McDonald actor had plenty of support in the studio audience, including his on-screen daughter Amy, who was left red-faced and giggling after he shared the nickname he calls her on the cobbles set.
In the episode, Stephen asked Simon, who was already having a hard time after losing the highest amount of £100,000, who he wanted to open the next box, to which he cheekily replied: “She’s going to hate me for saying this, but smelly belly,” referring to Elle.
The mused host responded, "What did you call her? Smelly Belly?”.

The 47-year-old actor disclosed: “I called her Smelly Belly when she was very little, and I’ve kept calling it her."
He added: "And she went through a phase of going ‘stop calling me Smelly Belly,' and now I think she’s come out of that.”
Elle joined the conversation and added: “I’ve just decided there’s no point arguing it.”
Stephen then teased: “Well, the great thing is he’s now done it in front of millions of people”, to which Simon laughed and noted: “No big deal.”

Unfortunately, when Elle lifted her box, it was terrible news for the star, as she had a whopping £25,000 in her box.
Fans took to X(Twitter) and also reacted to the embarrassing nickname Simon gave Ellie with one saying: “Who knew Amy Barlow's nickname was Smelly Belly! She opened 25k! Got her own back there.”
Another wrote: “Love Elle (Amy Barlow) she looks gorge tonight as well.”
After the significant loss a third felt gutted for Simon and penned: "The 25 has gone, oh dear!"
Last month, during ITV’s first celebrity instalment of the show, viewers were shocked to see Michael Owen appear on the hit show.
Fellow ex-England attackers Emile Heskey and John Barnes joined their former Liverpool team-mate and his family in a game show of two halves.
Fans initially slammed Owen for "stinking" in the "worst start ever seen".
But the pundit stormed back in a festive version of the hit ITV programme.
Deal or No Deal Celebrity special is available to stream on ITVX.
