Love Island legend hits back at trolls who ask ‘who are you?’ as she lands job alongside Indiyah on All Stars podcast

Amy faced harsh criticism in the wake of the announcement and had her own clap back to the trolls

LOVE Island legend Amy Hart has hit back at cruel trolls who insisted they had no clue who she was after landing a high-profile job on the show.

New mum Amy has been given a well-deserved promotion by ITV to become the third lead presenter of Love Island's official The Morning After podcast for the upcoming All Stars edition.

It will see Amy join returning stars Indiyah Polack and King of the Jungle Sam Thompson every episode to bring fans up to date with all the shenanigans from the South African villa.

However, series five Islander Amy, known for her failed romance with Curtis Pritchard, was inundated with cruel comments from viewers of the show who were left asking: "Who are you?"

They also took aim at the star being front and centre of the official promo image as they bizarrely suggested Indiyah had been 'pushed out'.

It forced Amy to clap back at the haters after the slew of negative comments.

Commenting underneath the image, one cruel troll said: "Had to come to the comments to see who the third one was! Didn't recognise Amy at all."

Another took aim at the addition of Amy to Sam and Indiyah's existing duo as they wrote: "Why is Amy there? I don’t want it. Sam and Indiyah are the perfect duo … alone."

A third then asked: "Why’s Amy Hart an icon pls."

As a fourth said: "Indyiah needs to be in the middle."

Before a fifth penned: "Why Amy?! She’s not fun and can’t have a proper conversation on the mic!"

However, Amy made sure to clap back at the haters as she reminded them that she had actually worked on the podcast for a year.

Amy was Indiyah's stand-in host if the glamorous star was off and also hosted the show on Sunday alongside Kaz Kamwi in place of Indiyah and Sam as they prepared to appear on Aftersun alongside Maya Jama.

Defiantly hitting back at a troll who said: "If Amy doesn't pass the vibe check can it just be Sam and Indiyah please," Amy said: "I used to do Sundays for the last 2 series!"

In the promo shot, Amy looked breathtaking as she wowed in a simply stunning golden dress that featured a jewelled detail throughout.

Her blonde tresses fell loosely as she posed with her co-stars.

Indiyah looked more glam than ever as she flaunted her curves in a gorgeous black gown as Sam looked razor sharp in his suit.

So far, Liberty Poole and Georgia Harrison have both been lined-up to head into the All Stars villa for a second chance at love.
