THE Masked Singer fans were left shocked as Alexander Armstrong was revealed to be underneath the Chicken Ceasar mask as they were booted off the competition.
The Pointless host became the second person to be dumped from the ITV show after soul singer Dionne Warwick was axed in week one.
Judge Jonathan admitted that he was left kicking himself as the TV presenter was revealed after the panel failed to identify the star.
One fan was left gutted by the star's early exit as they wrote: "Gutted Chicken Caesar is out! Alexander you have been robbed!"
Another was left in shock as they said: "Definitely would not have guessed that was Alexander Armstrong AT ALL."
Before someone else said: "The elimination of Alexander Armstrong is the greatest injustice in the history of this show. This panel are a joke."

Talking about taking part in the show, Alexander said: “I’ve been longing to do it, every year I’m always getting messages saying are you so and so? Are you Traffic Cone? And I say maybe!
"I’ve loved it, it's the beginning of the journey and the end of the journey but what a journey it's been!”
Reflecting on his elaborate costume, the star said: "It's just fabulous. You can wander about, and I've got a wingspan!
"Very colourful as well, which I think is terrific. Lots of things I can do with that.

"The worst thing is it's quite heavy. The head's very heavy and you can't really see anything.
Bubble Tea, Chicken Ceasar and Owl were left in the danger zone as it was up to the judges which star would be eliminated from the contest.
It meant that they had picked for the actor and presenter to leave the programme.
During the show, Rita Ora, Davina McCall, Mo Gilligan and Jonathan Ross were left wowed as six new stars took to the stage for the very first time.
As ever, it set X - formerly Twitter - alight as fans were left speculating in their droves over the variety of stars that could be secretly appearing on the show.
It comes a week after the show was embroiled in a 'fix' row over Dionne Warwick's axing.
Dionne, 85, is a five-time Grammy Award-winning recording artist.
Those watching at home were baffled about how she got sent home so quickly - and suggested she had just signed up to do one episode.

Speculating about her early exit, one person wrote: "If Dionne Warwick is voted of #MaskedSingerUK 1st then there must be a 1 week contract available for those who want to take part but not for too long. Unless they just don't want to pretend Weather is not her for another week?"
