Fans may recognise the star from his past television appearances

THE TRAITORS returned to screens in January 2024, with 22 new contestants competing in the game show.

Who is Paul on The Traitors?

Paul is a business manager from Manchester.

The player signed up for The Traitors after his friends and family convinced him to watch the first series and encouraged him to apply for the next edition.

He said: "I just fell in love with it straight away, as it's properly up my street.

"I love the activity side of things, especially the mission where they were walking across the drawbridge blindfolded, I really loved that.

"Then the round table with people's emotions running high, I thought this is definitely something I could get involved in and, you know what, I might be able to succeed in."

Paul is no stranger to TV as he appeared on two different shows prior to signing up for The Traitors.

When he was 22, Paul was the subject of a four-part reality series titled Quest For The Backflip.

The show documented Paul's life and passion for BMX riding as he aimed to get back on his bike and achieve the perfect backflip trick.

After that, he appeared on Channel 4 game show Deal or No Deal.

He took part in the show back in 2010 and told host Noel Edmonds that he hoped to land a big-money modelling contract from his appearance.

Is Paul a Traitor or Faithful?

Paul was chosen as a Traitor during the first episodes of The Traitor's second series.

The show's host Claudia Winkleman picked the first three Traitors after interviewing each player to see who would be good for the role.

During the round table, she then tapped who she had selected on the shoulder while all the contestants were blindfolded.

Prior to the show starting, Paul had revealed his desire to be a Traitor.

He said: "I hope that happens, because the more I think about what the show is, it is about the real Traitors, right?

"To participate in the show fully is to be a Traitor, I think."
