The Traitors series 1 star reveals why Diane has become an ‘easy target’ ahead of explosive first banishment

A STAR from the first season of The Traitors has shared her thoughts on why Diane will be an easy target for either the hooded imposters or a banishment.

Meryl Williams, who won the reality show last year, had some theories about why the Scot is being singled out as one to watch.

The Traitors already considered 'murdering' the retired schoolteacher on their first night booting someone off the programme.

She also came up in conversation during the explosive first round table conversation with both Faithfuls and undercover Traitors choosing someone to eliminate.

Meryl shared her thoughts on the cast member with , saying: "Diane, the retired teacher. I looked at her and thought it's like butter wouldn't melt.

"She looks really nice, but I think she is very vocal and I always said, from experience, don't go and be the loudest person in the room on the first episode.

"The Traitors are looking for someone to get out and if you're the loudest person, if you're talking to people, if you're dictating and throwing your voice so everyone can hear, you're going to be the only name that everyone can remember later.

"So I think she is most likely the easiest target."

On the topic of strategy and game playing, the former winner added: "She's not really got that many connections with anyone either so it's not like she's building an alliance with any of the other Traitors to keep her in."

In fact, Diane has gone the complete other direction and already correctly guessed three out of four Traitors - to their faces.
