The Traitors viewers in shock as fourth secret traitor revealed after surprise twist

THE TRAITORS viewers have been left shock after a fourth secret traitor was revealed in tonight's episode.

A trio of back-stabbers were unveiled as the hit show returned yesterday, but there was a shock twist as another was also chosen.

In the opening scene of episode two, business manager Paul, British Army engineer Harry and events coordinator, Ash waited patiently for their comrade to arrive.

When it turned out to be Miles, BBC viewers rushed to X, formerly Twitter, where they made their thoughts known.

One wrote, "MILES IS A TRAITOR???? I WAS NOT EXPECTING THAT," while another added, "Miles is a traitor?! What."

Someone else made a good point with, "Miles is a brilliant Traitor choice. Nobody will suspect him he’s too nice."

A third tweeted, "Ooooh they picked Miles!! Yay, I really like Miles!!"

Host Claudia Winkleman initially selected three individuals using her trademark secret shoulder squeeze.

She then told the trio they had to select another partner-in-crime, and they decided it should be one of four people - Miles, Andrew, Sonja and Diane.

The debut show concluded with her telling the person they selected that they were a traitor, leaving viewers at home on a cliffhanger.

Some fans had already speculated they would choose Miles, along with Andrew.

Elsewhere, the traitors chose their first victim tonight and decided which one of the faithful they wanted to eliminate from the show.

In a secret meeting, the four hooded figures shared their thoughts on who they wanted to 'murder'.

As the cast flocked in for breakfast the next morning, they eventually realised Aubrey was missing.
