Hollyoaks cast West End star as mysterious new character causing chaos in stunt week
HOLLYOAKS have cast huge West End star Iz Hesketh as part of the show’s major new stunt storyline.
Iz will first be seen on screen as a mysterious newcomer during the soap’s huge stunt week which airs later this month.
It’s thought that the character will then go on to be heavily involved in the soap’s year-long fallout from the crash - apparently the character is keeping a massive secret and will cause a stir among the locals.
Iz - who identifies as non-binary - recently sparked rumours that they had joined the cast after they were spotted alongside the cast at the soap’s Christmas party last month.
The Sun has contacted a rep for Hollyoaks.
They hit the headlines last year after they made theatre history for being the first trans non-binary actor to be cast in the West End’s open-air production of Legally Blonde.

The production was highly praised, with Iz’s performance as Margot being hailed by critics.
They also feature on the live cast recording of the Olivier Award-nominated autobiographical play My Son’s A Queer (but what can you do?) and participated in West End Live.
Iz has also starred in global hit The Book of Mormon throughout its world tour.
Most recently, Iz appeared as Kaia in ITV2 series Buffering.
