Coronation Street fans ‘rumble’ third huge return as Damon and Harvey reunite for robbery plot
CORONATION Street fans are convinced they have rumbled a return for another character after trouble-making brothers Damon and Harvey re-appeared on the show.
Fans of the ITV soap opera watched on as Damon made a surprise return to the cobbles on New Year's Day followed by a visit to see his brother just one day later.
Damon, played by actor Ciaran Griffiths, initially made his way back to Weatherfield as part of a plot to kill Adam Barlow as an act of revenge.
The pair had been at war following the revelation that Adam's wife had been conducting a steamy affair with Damon.
Damon had instructed his associates to kidnap Adam and take him to Weatherfield's local kidnapping hub - the exact same location Toyah Habeeb was held at gunpoint just months prior.
Eventually armed with a gun, Damon opted out of killing the solicitor and the plot was quickly foiled.

It came after he begged for Sarah back and learned that she had miscarried their child together while he was away.
Soon, Damon was seen heading to the prison to have a meeting with a mystery visitor which was quickly revealed to be his villainous brother Harvey, played by Will Mellor.
Harvey was asking his brother to take part in a robbery he was planning and offered up some pretty hefty threats in the process if he were not to go through with it.
As the war of words between the brothers were issues, Coronation Street fans could not help but wonder that the planned robbery would ultimately lead to a third shock return.

They have been left convinced that Damon's son, Jacob, who quit the cobbles early last year, will be back.
Played by Jack James Ryan, Jacob had shunned a life of crime like his relatives but after an attempted reunion with his father he was soon caught up in the handling of drugs before he fled Manchester for good.
Commenting on his rumoured return, one fan penned on X - formerly Twitter: "Bring Jacob back I say. He ended up being one of my favourites before he unexpectedly left! #Corrie."
Another added: "Jacob with a couple of mentions this week. Hope he comes back at some point #Corrie."
Before a third said: "Jacob mention. Can they bring him back please #Corrie."
Details surrounding Harvey's planned robbery have remained sparse although fans have been loving seeing the charming yet villainous duo back on screens.
Will Mellor previously teased that Harvey would be pulling the strings as he said of Harvey and Damon's bond: "Harvey’s got nothing to lose and that’s what makes him so dangerous.
"At first we just see him playing with Damon, trying to get a reaction, then when he gets a reaction when he talks about the girl that he’s seeing, Harvey knows he’s got him.
"As soon as he realises how much Damon likes Sarah, the fact she’s got kids that he cares about, then he knows he’s got him."
