The Tourist’s Jamie Dornan ‘not proud’ as he admits to stalking woman on London Underground
THE Tourist's Jamie Dornan says he is 'not proud' as he admits to stalking a woman on the London Underground.
The 41-year-old actor is currently back on screens in series two of The Tourist, where he plays a man who can't remember who he is, but soon realises a lot of people are out to get him and want him dead.
One of Jamie's other big roles was as murderer and stalker Paul Spector in hit BBC drama, The Fall, alongside Gillian Anderson.
To prepare for the role, Jamie decided to follow a woman on the London Underground, a move he now regrets.
Explaining his logic at the time, the actor told the Los Angeles Times: "I followed her around a couple of street corners and then was like: 'What are you doing?'
"I’m sort of not proud of myself. But I do honestly think I learned something from it because I’ve obviously never done any of that.

"It was intriguing and interesting to enter that process of ‘what are you following her for?’ and ‘what are you trying to find out?’”
Sadly for Jamie, he has also been on the receiving end of stalking following his role in the Fifty Shades of Grey movies.
He revealed how many die-hard fans of the franchise have managed to find out where he lives.
Jamie also explained to the Irish Times that he still receives messages from fans of the movies who think that he and co-star Dakota Johnson have a life together, despite him being happily married to his wife of 10 years, Amelia Warner.

He said: "The fandom of that franchise is still feverish. They’ve got all kinds of mad theories. Like that Dakota and I have a child together.
"At one point, we had a stalking, getting-the-authorities involved situation, all kinds of mad stuff, which if I’m honest I’m quite fearful of, so I stay away from it."
