THE Masked Singer fans were left gobsmacked this evening as Weather was revealed as Dionne Warwick – and are convinced she only agreed to do one episode.
Tonight saw the first six celebrities take to the stage and compete in pairs to make it through to the next round.
Maypole, Dippy Egg and Weather found themselves fighting for survival in the bottom three.
The judges – Jonathan Ross, Mo Gilligan, Davina McCall and guest judge Charlie Simpson – chose to save Maypole first, followed by Dippy Egg.

It was then revealed Weather would be sent home.
The judges almost all guessed it would be superstar Dionne, but were still shocked to see her behind the mask.
Dionne, 85, is a five-time Grammy Award-winning recording artist.
Those watching at home were baffled about how she got sent home so quickly – and suggested she had just signed up to do one episode.
Speculating about her early exit, one person wrote: “If Dionne Warwick is voted of #MaskedSingerUK 1st then there must be a 1 week contract available for those who want to take part but not for too long. Unless they just don’t want to pretend Weather is not her for another week?”
A second said: “Dionne Warwick clearly had a “one episode only” deal.”
While a third added: “#TheMaskedSinger is def a fix! They knew it was Dionne Warwick and woulda kept her in for being the legend that she is. Something fishy going on.”
Dionne appeared on The Masked Singer US back in 2020 as a mouse.
Speaking at the time about how tough it was to go unnoticed, the 83-year-old said: “It’s kind of hard to disguise my voice, unfortunately, in this case, and they recognised my voice, there’s nothing I can do about that.”
