MASTERCHEF viewers have been left baffled by a star's pronunciation of the word Chicken Kiev on the latest episode.
Last night's episode saw the tables turned on five restaurant critics who have all appeared on MasterChef.
Also in the kitchen was Leyla Kazim, William Sitwell, Jimi Famurewa and Jay Rayner.
Jay was crowned the winner of the Battle Of The Critics at the end of the hour-long show and presented with a gold trophy shaped like a knife and fork.
However viewers were left scratching their heads at one thing during the episode.
William Sitwell cooked up a Chicken Kiev, but throughout the segment, the word "Chicken Keev" was repeated countless times in just 2 minutes.

One wrote: "It's weird how they said chicken Kiev."
A second asked: "So, are there any other obviously uncultured souls out there, who still pronounce it chicken kiev, rather than chicken keeev?"
A third added: "Wait, what - you are supposed to pronounce Chicken Kiev…chicken keeve - not having that!"

Meanwhile, I'M A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! star Grace Dent broke down in tears in last night's episode.
After presenting John and Gregg with a plate of butter chicken, she seemed shocked that they actually liked it.
John told the food critic that he "loved" her curry, while Gregg gushed: "I could honestly just eat that by the ladle full. Well done you!"
Blinking back tears, Grace quietly whispered a "thank you".
