Top of the Pops fans demand BBC bring back show after Clara Amfo presents Review of the Year

TOP of the Pop fans have demanded the BBC bring back the Christmas Day special.
It aired weekly from 1964 until 2006 before being axed - but the festive episode aired on December 25 until 2022.
Cost-cutting measures meant the festive favourite was pulled from the schedules last year despite it being traditional viewing for generations of Brits.
Host Clara Amfo presented Review of the Year on Thursday night, which was a hit with viewers - and inspired many to petition for its return.
"So lovely to see you back on the telly Clara," said one.
"I hope next year they bring back with the studio show with yourself and Fearne! It's not Christmas Day without it!!!"
Someone added: "Ooh this is a lot of fun to watch ! Petition to bring back TOTP in this format!!"
Another said: "They should bring Top Of The Pops back properly … not just once a year. Can you have a word with someone please, Clara?"
Radio 1 DJ Clara has been a host on the legendary chart music show before.
It returned for a yearly show, with her presenting a host of musical performances from some of the biggest pop stars of 2023.
