EMMERDALE viewers have been left delighted after Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean made a surprise appearance in the soap.
The Dancing On Ice legends popped up in the latest episode of the ITV1 show to help Belle Dingle propose to super-fan Tom King.
Layla Harding took a blindfolded Tom to their local rink before she revealed Torvill and Dean.
The legendary pair then skated around the ice to Bolero as Tom looked on amazed.
Tom's girlfriend Belle then appeared before getting down on one knee and popping the question.
When asked by Tom how Belle had managed to organise Torvill and Dean's surprise involvement, he was told it was a "long story" that began when 'Leyla met them once in Mykonos'.

It was revealed in November that Jayne and Christopher would be appearing in an episode of Emmerdale during the festive period.
Speaking as he filmed the scenes, Christopher said: "Being here is absolutely incredible. We've gone from watching Emmerdale on TV to actually being in a scene...
"It's like going from the screen to the scene. I'm absolutely loving it."
Jayne, meanwhile, said: “I can’t wait to watch the episode that we are going to be in. It will be surreal sitting at home watching it.”
Emmerdale bosses were thrilled to have snared Torvill and Dean for an episode.
Emmerdale Producer Laura Shaw promised the skating duo's cameo would "bring some Christmas magic to the show".
