Declan Donnelly reveals shock moment Ant McPartlin was blasted by Limitless Win boss after wild reaction to players game

DECLAN Donnelly has opened up about the jaw-dropping moment Ant McPartlin ‘got told off’ by Limitless Win bosses whilst filming the forthcoming series.

The third season of the successful ITV game show will kick off next week, and the well-known TV duo have promised fans that it will be "a groundbreaking series in more ways than one."

Fans of Ant & Dec’s gameshow Limitless Win will be delighted to learn that season three of the show will air on January 6, and show bosses have already confirmed a fourth season is in the works.

The show, which sees contestants answer an unlimited amount of questions in a bid to win as much money as they can, has become a success since it launched last year. 

Ahead of season three, the beloved TV duo sat down and spoke about the upcoming and previous seasons of the show. 

Speaking on whether there will be new meme-worthy reactions in the new season, Dec revealed that whilst filming for the new season, Ant was blasted by show bosses after having a crazy response to one of the contestant's games. 

Dec explained: “We get so carried away. We're just so invested in every couple that play the game.

"You can't help but become emotional for them during each game."

Ant then added, “In fact, I actually jumped on the desk this series,” to which Dec revealed, “You got told off for that, didn’t you.”

The 48-year-old then said: “I had a very good reason for jumping on the desk, so wait until you watch it.”

While Dec shared: "All will be revealed. But you did nearly break the desk."

He added when asked about the most shocking or funniest moments from the series: "When Ant jumped on the desk, I was really shocked. And it was quite funny when he nearly broke it."

During the sit-down, the pair also spoke about what type of players the viewers can look forward to seeing this season.

Ant revealed: "Well, like we said, they all know the show. They all know how to play the game. They're much better at using their lifelines, and they've done more revision.

Dec added: "We've had a really nice mix as well. We've had friends, siblings, parent and child, and married couples.

"It's been a really nice mix of contestants."

Ant also teased that this year’s series will be filled with “More drama, more tension, more fun, and more wins than ever before!”

While Dec went on and confirmed that there will be plenty  "more 'shout at the telly' questions, which the whole family can have a go at.”

Ant & Dec's Limitless Win Season 3 will air on January 6 on ITV and ITVX.
