Netflix fans left seriously ‘confused’ by new series after binge-watching every episode
The Spanish series currently has no scores on Rotten Tomatoes but has a 6.1 out of 10 rating on IMDb.
NETFLIX viewers have been divided over a new rom-com, with some completely baffled while others are desperate for a second series.
The Manny was released on the streamer’s platform on December 24, and since then, it has gradually climbed up the streaming giant's top 10 chart.

The 10-episode Mexican series follows a busy executive called Jimena, played by Sandra Echeverría, as she tries to juggle life with three kids.
In a moment of panic, Jimena ends up hiring a cowboy named Gabriel, played by Iván Amozurrutia, as a babysitter, but little did she know that he would change her outlook on life forever.
The full synopsis for The Manny reads: “Jimena juggles trying to keep her life in order. Between raising her three children, competing for the company’s presidency, and dealing with her (almost) ex-husband, she has her hands full.
“She then meets Gaby, a charming rancher who unexpectedly turns out to be the best nanny for her children. Unexpectedly, Gabriel and Jimena will fall in love without minding stereotypes about gender roles.”

Netflix subscribers who binged all of series one or were tempted to watch the show took to X(Twitter) to express how they felt about The Manny.
One user typed: “Did Netflix really just release a show called #TheManny, and it doesn't star @justinhartley ?? And the promo art is just a bad Photoshop, placing all of the characters together. I'm so confused.”
Another viewer wrote: “I really, really enjoyed #TheManny and would recommend if you’re looking for a holiday break binge that’s light hearted and romantic. It kinda just … ends? So I’m definitely going to need a S2 @netflix.
A third added: “I’m watching #TheManny on Netflix as my pre-game before I go all in on Christmas movies. It’s like a Spanish Who’s the Boss? Would recommend.”

The new series was created by Carolina Rivera, who is also known for Daughter From Another Mother and has worked on shows such as Roswell, New Mexico, and Jane the Virgin.
Also included in the cast are Diana Bovio as Brenda, José María Torre as Joaquín, Anthony Giuletti as Leo, Alexander Tavizon as Santiago, Cassandra Iturralde as Sofía, Moisés Arizmendi as Rogelio and Eugenio Montessoro as Ernesto.
The Manny hasn’t been scored on Rotten Tomatoes but has been rated 6.1 out of 10 on IMDb and is growing in popularity.
Elsewhere the streamer's fans have pleaded for show bosses to renew a second season of the new adult animation limited series from Rick and Morty writer Dan Guterman titled Carol & the End of the World.
