NETFLIX fans have pleaded for show bosses to renew a second season of the new adult animation limited series from Rick and Morty writer Dan Guterman.
The 10-episode series titled Carol & the End of the World featured Euphoria star Martha Kelly voicing the titular character Carol.
The new Netflix animated series follows Martha's character Carol - a shy and constantly uncomfortable woman -experiencing the world's imminent extinction due to a mysterious planet speeding directly towards Earth.
While most people feel the need to tick off the things on their bucket list, Carol stands alone, lost amongst the sybaritic masses.
The logline for the series reads: “With a mysterious planet hurtling towards Earth, extinction is imminent for the people of the world.
"While most feel liberated to pursue their wildest dreams, one quiet and always uncomfortable woman stands alone — lost among the hedonistic masses.”
