Love Island star Mary Bedford reveals Christmas heartache as her beloved dog dies
LOVE Island star Mary Bedford has suffered a Christmas heartache with the death of her beloved dog.
Mary, 24, announced the sad news on Instagram yesterday alongside a photo montage of the pooch.
She wrote, "On Christmas Eve we lost our little baby boy. Bentley you was SO loved by everyone & you taught us what unconditional love really is, our hearts are broken, my darling boy we miss you so much already.
"I pray that you and your cheeky monkey are flying high now, thank you for giving us the best memories we could have ever wished for."
Her co-star on the ITV2 show, Millie Court, consoled her in the commments section.
She wrote, "Aw Mary I’m so so sorry to hear, the most precious thing in life and what lovely memories you’ll have for the rest of life. Sending you so much love."

Lucinda Brown added, "Sending so much love," while Ellie Brown chimed in with, "Sweet baby boy, sending so much love to you all."
Mary joined Love Island's 2021 summer series during the show's infamous Casa Amor.
At the time she set her sights on Millie's partner Liam Reardon.
She said: "Liam is just beautiful. He’s 6ft6 for a start, he seems really old-school, like a gentleman. And he’s basically the same age as me."

When she entered the villa she got together with footaballer Aaron Simpson and they quickly became a favourite couple among Love Island fans.
But their love story wasn't meant to last as the pair split just a couple of days after leaving the villa.
