Big Brother bosses ‘set to offer huge royal £500k’ to sign up to celebrity version
Big Brother bosses are planning to offer Sarah Ferguson £500,000 to sign up to the celebrity version of the show.
Fergie, 64, - who was married to Prince Andrew - is said to be ITV’s ‘main target’, when the popular reality show returns to TV in March of next year.
A source told the: “Sarah would be a brilliant signing for Celebrity Big Brother. She is very smart, engaging and funny.
“Not to mention the millions of viewers she would pull in if she began talking to housemates about the Royal Family and Prince Andrew.
“Sarah has never considered reality formats in the past but ITV bosses are hoping their offer might change that position. Signing her would be a massive coup. That’s why they are digging deep for the offer they plan to make her.”
A spokesman for Sarah, Duchess of York, denied the report and said: "The Duchess will not be appearing on this show.

"As is widely known, she does not consider reality TV formats."
Bosses were reportedly impressed with her recent stint on This Morning and are keen to build on their relationship with her.
It comes after The Sun revealed Sarah was all set to sign up to I’m A Celebrity last series, but pulled out after refusing to discuss her ex Andrew.
Fergie wanted producers to ensure she was not asked about Andy, who she still lives with despite divorcing in 1996 – but neither Sarah or bosses were willing to back down.

She went on to claim she has been asked to do a variety of other shows, including Dancing On Ice and Strictly, but said no to them too.
Fergie — mum to Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice — has been loyal to Andrew amid the Jeffrey Epstein paedo scandal and claims the Duke slept with a 17-year-old Virginia Giuffre.
