Rylan Clark reveals why he wouldn’t want This Morning job as he backs Ben Shephard for role
RYLAN Clark has revealed the surprising reason why he wouldn’t want a job at This Morning job - and has also backed Ben Shephard for the role.
The TV star first appeared on the ITV show between 2013 and 2019, and recently reprised his role as a guest host.
A number of presenters have been hosting the show since Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield stepped down from their roles earlier this year.
Just last week The Sun revealed that and Cat Deeley to replace them on the programme.
When speaking to The Sun about the much-loved show, Rylan said: "It's been lovely to be back, obviously I left like five years ago, so to come back and to see everyone was the highlight for me, to see them all again."
When asked what he thinks about the rumours of the new This Morning presenters, Rylan told us: "Cat is amazing and Ben is amazing...

"I love them both! I've grown up with the pair of them."
He added: "I think they will be amazing if it is them!"
However the telly star confessed that he isn't keen on presenting the show himself because of one factor.
Rylan joked: "Are you mad? I like a lay in!"

Meanwhile Rylan also gave a about his mum Linda, 71, after her horror fall in Marbella.
She was rushed to hospital and needed surgery after breaking her arm and leg.
“My mum is doing really really well... she's really really great," Rylan told us.
"She's stumbling about Lakeside, so she's very much back to normal.”
