Huge Netflix documentary returning for second season after rave reviews – and it’s just weeks away

Season two of the hit show is created by the team behind F1: Drive to Survive.

NETFLIX has announced the trailer and release date for a new season of a popular documentary that explored the lives of some of our time's most prominent sports personalities.

The streamer has renewed a second season of the tennis player documentary titled Break Point.

The first season gave an in-depth behind-the-scenes look into the lives of top tennis players who were close to becoming legends, such as Nick Kyrgios, Iga Świątek, Taylor Fritz, Ons Jabeur and more.

Now fans of the show, which received an impressive Rotten Tomatoes audience score of 81%, can look forward to more heart-racing episodes. 

Season two of Break Point will be landing on Netflix on January 10 next year with six compelling episodes.

The forthcoming series will be following a selected group of top tennis players who all dream of becoming world number one as they return to the green court to compete in gruelling Grand Slams and sports tournaments worldwide.

Like the previous season, Viewers will get a front-row seat view of the pressure-tested lives of the athletes as they experience emotional heartbreak, triumphant victories and personal moments on and off the court. 

Confirmed to be featured in the upcoming series are rising tennis stars Carlos Alcaraz, Matteo Berrettini, Taylor Fritz, Coco Gauff, Anett Kontaveit, Nick Kyrgios, Daniil Medvedev, Tommy Paul, Jess Pegula, Holger Rune, Aryna Sabalenka, Maria Sakkari, Ben Shelton, Frances Tiafoe, Ajla Tomljanović, and Alexander Zverev.

Series two is executively produced by Paul Martin, James Gay-Rees and Warren Smith, with Sarah-Jane Brion as the series producer.

Break Point season two is Co-executively produced by Nick Bourne and Ugo Valensi, with Martin Webb as director and  Darren Lovell as the showrunner.

Box to Box Films produced the show, which Netflix has gained rights to. 

Break Point season two will land on Netflix on January 10.
