Towie legend Tommy Mallet insists he’s got ‘no money’ – despite selling luxury trainer brand worth millions
TOWIE legend Tommy Mallet has recently insisted he has 'no money' despite having sold a luxury trainer brand worth millions.
The former reality star became a multi-millionaire after launching his shoe brand Mallet, and has not shied away from splashing out on his family ever since.
He lately admitted that he has "spoilt" his son Brody "so badly" because it's difficult not to give the boy everything he wants when Tommy can afford it.
The Essex lad also recently showed off a new custom-made Ferrari which set him back by £500,000.
But when asked about his wealth on the Getting There podcast this week, he claimed it's all gone.
He told show host Brogan: "I've got nothing financially at the moment. I basically made an acquisition in January, it was quite a big one and it was to buy some shares back for Mallet.

"I put money into Mallet to get my shares back up thinking that I was going to go and basically build the next year, just full force.
"And obviously, after seeing you, I lost the baby. That turned my whole world around and I was like, something needs to change.
"I basically started from scratch. I've got the biggest tax bill ever."
Several shocked TOWIE fans flocked to his comments to reassure him that he will get another chance to make his fortune in the upcoming year.
