Emmerdale Christmas Day spoilers as Mackenzie Boyd fights for his life
The troublemaker was taken hostage by dangerous and vengeful criminal Harry aka Damon Harris.
MACKENZIE Boyd has played with fire long enough for him to land himself into trouble – and it could be deadly.
Coming up in Emmerdale, the hunk is left within an inch of his life as he tries to escape from Harry’s clutches. Will he make it?
ITV viewers have grown increasingly frustrated with Lawrence Robb‘s on-screen alter ego.
After a fight with Charity, which was triggered by his drunken and reckless behaviour as he continues to struggle without his son Reuben, Mackenzie found himself tied to a chair in an abandoned factory.
It became clear that Mackenzie was being held hostage, and viewers found out that someone was after him.
In scenes due to air, inside the gloomy factory, there’s no sign of Mackenzie, just the chair he was once bound to.
Will he survive his ordeal?
Unbeknownst to Mackenzie, his former fiancée Chloe Harris (portrayed by Jessie Elland) managed to get back in touch with her criminal father.
Viewers were shocked to learn that Harry (Robert Beck), who Caleb Milligan and Nate Robinson faced earlier this year, was Chloe’s father all along.
Upon their reunion in recent soap scenes, Harry made it clear he was using a pseudonym for his business endeavours, as his real name was Damon.
Chloe explained to him what had happened to her in the Dales, including the accident she nearly lost her life in due to her beau refusing to save her and the breakdown of her engagement with Mackenzie, who cheated on her with Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins).
As soap fans will remember, Mack came to terms with how strongly he felt about Charity and decided to stop ignoring his feelings – but he hurt Chloe’s in the process.
Unable to contain his anger once he learned how badly his daughter had been treated, Harry aka Damon took it upon himself to keep her and baby Reuben close to him.
Harry did so by encouraging her to cut off all contact with her sister Amy Wyatt (Natalie Ann Jamieson) as he and Chloe reconnected.
But in another set of scenes, Harry took things to the next level by kidnapping Mackenzie and holding him captive.
Harry made his decision when Chloe reaffirmed how much she wanted Mackenzie to let her and Reuben go to finally be able to start afresh away from all of their recent drama.
