The good news is, the wait is almost over, as the BBC are getting ready to unleash a Christmas special of the hit series.
When is the Doctor Who Christmas Special 2023?
This festive edition of Doctor Who will air on Christmas Day.
The episode is called the Church on Ruby Road.
Viewers will see the Doctor come face-to-face with the mythical and mysterious goblins as his life collides with Ruby Sunday.
Little does she know that her life is about to be turned upside down when she encounters the famous Time Lord.

Ncuti Gatwa as Doctor Who
Ncuti Gatwa takes on the lead role of the famous Time Lord and the 15th Doctor.
He takes over from David Tennant who returned to the show as the 14th Doctor
Ncuti first shot to fame for his role as Eric in Sex Education.
He has also starred in the Barbie movie, and is set nto appear in the Apple TV+ series Masters of the Air.
Millie Gibson as Ruby Sunday
After leaving Coronation Street, actress Millie Gibson landed the role of a lifetime on Doctor Who.
She plays Ruby Sunday, who is the Doctor's latest sidekick.
The TV star takes over from Catherine Tate, who reunited with David Tennant for the last series.
Actress Millie shot to fame on Corrie, before leaving to "peruse other opportunities".
Davina McCall as Herself
Top TV presenter Davina McCall stars in this festive edition of Doctor Who, and she plays herself.
This isn't the first time show has been on the show, as she voiced the Davinadroid in the 2005 episode Bad Wolf.
On TV, she is known for shows like Big Brother, The Masked Singer, My Mum, Your Dad and Long Lost Family.
Davina has also played herself in other shows, including Dead Set and Extras.

Has the Doctor Who Christmas Special 2023 trailer been released?
A first look trailer dropped in mid-December and shows the 15th doctor and his new sidekick Ruby meet for the first time.
It opens with them dancing in a nightclub and quickly moves to the Time Lord jumping across rooftops.

Fans then see him introduce himself to Ruby as "the Doctor", before they end up on a pirate ship in the sky filled with goblins.
