A Place in the Sun pulled from daytime as it bags prime time slot in huge Channel 4 schedule shake-up
A PLACE in the Sun has bagged a brand new prime time slot in Channel 4's latest schedule shake-up.
The broadcaster has given the long-running property series a brand new place in its schedule.
A Place in the Sun will air its spin-off series What Happened Next in January, which checks in with the Brits who took the plunge and relocated to sunnier climates.
Each presenter will revisit the house-hunters and find out if their dream of living abroad was what they expected.
The series has also been given a primetime slot by Channel 4 bosses, airing at 6:45pm on Sunday, January 7th.
The special series comes as A Place in the Sun celebrates a whopping 23 years on air.
