Strictly fans convinced they’ve ‘worked out heartbreaking reason’ Amanda Abbington quit – and won’t return for final

STRICTLY Come Dancing fans think Amanda Abbington quit the show to put her "own wellbeing first".
It comes after rumours of a feud with her professional partner Giovanni Pernice and backlash over past comments she made relating to a trans cabaret show.
Taking to social media, one fan mused on Reddit: "I have read that Giovanni takes training very seriously, he may have been keen to ensure she was a 'contender'.
"That, coupled with a fiancé who may be in need of a lot of emotional support due to his accident could have been the reason for her dropping out of Strictly.
"Putting your own wellbeing first is important."
Another said on X, formerly Twitter: "I hope Amanda knows there's a lot of love for her. What a talented & classy lady she is. Her performances on Strictly were stunning.

The Sherlock actress, who had been considered a dark horse for the glitterball before her shock exit due to 'personal reasons', confirmed she will not appear in this weekend's final.
A spokesman said: "Amanda decided to withdraw from the competition, therefore she will not be returning for the final."
