BBC Ghost’s Christmas special was an emotional rollercoaster that saw Alison and Bynoe finally move from their haunted home.
The comedy series first aired on BBC One in 2019, and it's had a total of five seasons, with the Christmas special being the last.
The paranormal sitcom, starring Charlotte Ritchie as Alison and Kiell Smith-Bynoe as Mike, followed the young couple as they tried navigating life and learning to live with a gang of ghosts from different periods of history.
After four years on screen, the final episode saw the ghosts, including Mathew Baynton, who plays Thomas, Simon Farnaby, who plays Julian, Lolly Adefope, who plays Kitty, Martha Howe-Douglas as Lady Button, Ben Willbond as The Captain, Jim Howick starring as Pat, Laurence Rickard portraying Robin, and Laurence Rickard as Sir Humphrey Bone say goodbye to to the small young family.
Throughout series five, fans witnessed Alison heavily pregnant, preparing to give birth to her unborn child.
During the Christmas instalment, Alison and Mike brought baby Mia back to the Button house to meet the rest of the clan.

Mike's mum, Betty, played by Sutara Gayle, accompanied the couple to help them with the newborn.
Still, things took an unexpected turn when she saw one of the ghosts covering the baby on the baby monitor, and called on a vicar to perform an ‘exorcism’.
Fortunately, the vicar's prayers did not affect the ghosts, who continued to live in the house in harmony.
Alison and her band of ghosts eventually devised a plan to finally get rid of Betty, which was accomplished after Alison told her to leave.

With Betty gone, plans go left when the captain told the couple - who were rejoicing Betty's departure in the kitchen: “We would like to make a proposal.’
Lady Buttom then reminded Alison that when she met her initially, she thought the young woman was a ‘prostitute’ but has gradually come to think of her as ‘her own daughter’.
The others teased Lady Button, with Pete saying, "Granddaughter surely, " as Humprey agreed, "even that's pushing it.”
Despite their jokes, Lady Button pushed on, saying: “ The point is we’re family. We all feel that way, and your family love you. Of course, but..."
Patrick injected, “But they can be a pain”, as Kitty added, "even when they don’t mean to be."
Thomas followed: “Because they just can’t help being who they are.”
The captain then took over and told Alison: "You have your own family now.”
A confused Alison replied: “ I don’t quite follow,” as Julian explained: "Like you said to Betty, you’ve got to find your own way."
"The last thing you need is constant interference from a gaggle of uncles and aunties and grannies and pets," interrupted Pat again.
Again, a confused Alison asked them to clarify what they were trying to say, with Lady Button finally blurting out: “Well, we can’t leave Alison, but you can.”
Still confused about what the ghosts meant, Alison reminded them that she didn't initially accept the offer to sell the house and that it was ‘too late’ to do anything about it.
Julian then assured her that she could get them to re-buy the house as Thomas instantly started to regret agreeing to get rid of Alison.
The Ghost reassured Alison that the move was for the best.
