Coronation Street’s Sair Khan reveals she’s pregnant with first baby
CORONATION Street star Sair Khan has announced she is pregnant with her first child.
The actress - who plays Alya Nazir in the ITV soap since 2014, revealed the happy news on social media today.
Sair, 35, showed off her growing baby bump in the black and white photo and told fans it was a "real mix of emotions", with the happy news coming amid her partner Nathan Chilton's health struggles.
The soap star, who also appeared on I'm A Celebrity in 2018, penned a touching message.
She shared: "Hello… It’s been a little while since posting on here which has been a real mix of emotions.
"With all that is happening in the world it didn’t feel like the right time to share but we also know it’s okay to keep hope and pray for peace whilst acknowledging that we feel blessed and grateful.

"Last year was a challenging time for us both with Nathan’s chondroblastoma surgery on his pelvis.
"It’s been a long road to recovery and still has many obstacles ahead as we deal with the spread of the tumour to his lungs.
"Life can be difficult and there’ll always be challenges to face but there are also important lessons to be learnt and gifts to be cherished.
"We’re so excited for the arrival of Baby Chilton in Spring 2024."

Sair was congratulated by her fans and her Corrie co-stars.
Former Corrie star Kimberly Hart Simpson posted: "Oh myyyyyyyy I am so happy for you. Amazing. Love to you both."

Ex-Corrie actor Jack James Ryan gushed: "Beautiful news. Huge congratulations to you both."
Sair found love again in 2021 two years after her heartbreaking split, when she started dating chiropractor Nathan.
She broke up with fellow soap star Simon Lennon in 2019.
A source said at the time: "They've been dating since late last year after meeting through a mutual friend.
"Things have been going really well and it's no secret that they're head over heels for each other. Everyone's hoping she's found The One."

Sair had appeared in I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! in 2018 and had starred on Channel 4’s Sink Or Swim.
The actress has had a number of hardhitting storylines over the years - including being shot and was the victim of a far-right extremists plot.
