THIS Morning fans think they might have spotted a feud brewing between today’s hosts Andi Peters and Mollie King.
Andi, 53, has previously taken a pop at The Saturdays when presenting with Rochelle Humes – pretending he didn’t know they had released a number of albums.
And as today’s show kicked off talk once again turned to the band and he appeared to mock Mollie when he discussed her doing lead vocals on their ‘highly successful’ Christmas song.
Producers played a clip of Andi previously mocking Mollie’s bandmate Rochelle.
When she told him they had made albums he questioned: “Albums, like 'ALBUM' albums?"
Back in the studio, Mollie informed him they had also done a Christmas song.
She told him: "It actually is, oh my god. Lead vocals, it happened once and that was it!"
Andi fired back: "Wow, that's a great feature. You did lead vocals on the highly successful Christmas single from The Saturdays.”
He quizzed her about what number they got to and she replied: "It's not about the numbers, Andi alright? Let's not worry about the numbers, okay?
"It's about how much you're enjoying it and I can tell that you're enjoying this.”
Andi told her he was off to look it up – as Mollie begged him not to.
The jokes didn’t end there though because as they watched Fisherman’s Friends perform, he made a sly dig about them having more albums that The Saturdays.
Those watching at home clocked his comments, with one writing: “Is it just me or is Andy Peters being a bit mean about Mollies musical past?!! He’s taken the joke a bit far now, poor Mollie!”
A second picked up on his constant remarks, saying: “The way Andi keeps going on about the Saturday's were they even that big?”
Girls Aloud formed in 2007 after industry giant Polydor Records held open auditions to form a band.
They were then catapulted to stardom after they supported Girls Aloud for their nationwide Tangled Up tour.
The group achieved thirteen top 10 records, five top 10 albums, and sold over five million records in the UK and Ireland.
In 2014 the band revealed they were taking a hiatus and are yet to reunite.
