A TOP sports star has revealed he's desperate to sign up for I'm A Celebrity's next series.

The fan-favourite admitted he would "quite enjoy" the critter-filled challenges on the ITV reality show - and didn't notice anything he "couldn't do."

Darts ace Phil Taylor, 64, is widely considered the best player of all time - and told us he isn't fazed by the slew of disgusting I'm A Celebrity experiences Down Under.

When talking about signing up for the show the Stoke-born star told The Sports Betting Community's : "Yeah, I’d be open to it. We’ve got to talk, obviously.

But Bob [his manager] will sort all that out.

"I mean I don’t find any challenges in there what I couldn’t do."

Phil, who has scooped a record 85 major titles in his career, added: "I know they’re not going to put anything in there that’s going to hurt you.

"I know you can get bitten, and something can go up your nose or whatever but we’ll just have to see. Do you know what I mean? It would be a challenge and something I’ve never done before. So I would quite enjoy it I think."

Yet he did admit he "can't keep my mouth shut" - which might spell danger for his fellow campmates,

Yet Phil - dubbed The Power in the darts arena - denied he would be first to start a spat.

He insisted: "No. I’d be normal. The only time I get argumentative is when I've had a drink!

"Hungry? No, no. I’ve noticed sometimes I go to bed and I'm hungry, but I always wake up and I’m not hungry. So, it wouldn’t bother me I don’t think. I’d lose a bit of weight as well."

Rumours around Phil's I'm A Celebrity spot were first sparked back in 2017.

It came after he hung up his arrows at the PDC World Darts Championships at Alexandra Palace.

Previously, he said: "I would do the jungle. Strictly I am not sure, though it would do me the world of good as it would get me fit.

“I have been asked to do the jungle but was always busy.”

This week, fans said they had "worked out" the first star for I'm A Celebrity's 2024 series.

The latest season was only just won by reality TV star Sam Thompson after he beat boxer Tony Bellew and politician Nigel Farage in the final.

But, alert viewers think they have already spotted that singer and TV presenter Rochelle Humes could be lining up for a stint in the jungle in 2024.

In one , hosts Ant and Dec ask fans who they would like to see in next year's show.

Multiple fans replied to the post and mentioned Rochelle's name, proving she would be a hit on the show.

Marvin was voted off the show just before the final with fans saying he was booted out because he wasn't memorable enough.
