A BBC announcer's 'blunder' has left University Challenge fans in stitches after he introduced a contestant.
The second round of the quiz competition for students continued yesterday.
York competed with Birkbeck for a place in the quarter-finals.
Amol Rajan was on board to asks the the mind-boggling questions.
But it wasn't long until viewers spotted a hilarious blunder.
Many thought the BBC announcer was making chicken sounds after announcing a contestant during the buzzer rounds.

One fan wrote on X/Twitter: I thought the University Challenge announcer was clucking like a chicken! DEAD."
Another tagged the voiceover artist, Roger Tilling and penned: Kudos to Roger Tilling for being brilliant about this."
The BBC announcer aslo wasn't afraid to make a joke of the situation, as he said: "I'm not so sure!! I sound a bit like a hen shouting 'Birkbeck McMillan' at speed!!"
Another fan replied: "Lol, I need this as my new ringtone. It just had to be Cluck, Cluck, Cluck McMillan to get the tie break question as well."

After 165 points, Birkbeck came out on top, heading to the quarter-finals.
