I'M A Celeb fans have been remarking on winner Sam Thompson's real full name after he was crowned this year's King of the Jungle.

Some fans took to X/Twitter to react to the revelation after Sam's triumph in the jungle set him up for a multi-million pound career.

One fan tweeted: "Sam Thompson - aka ‘Samuel Robert De Courcy Thompson’, yes really! - crowned king of the jungle in front of 7.5m viewers."

Another added: "Samuel Robert De Courcy Thompson has the right sort of name to make something of himself.

Last night, Sam was crowned the winner of I’m A Celebrity 2023.

The former Made in Chelsea star was revealed as the King of the Jungle after a tense finale with controversial politician Nigel Farage and retired boxer Tony Bellew.

Despite being the favourite, Sam was visibly shocked when Ant and Dec called his name out in the live finale.

He leapt into the arms of runner-up Tony Bellew as he was named the winner.

In the vote for third place, Sam scored a whopping 43.35 percent of the vote, while Tony got 30.87 percent and Nigel was closely behind with 25.78 percent.

In the end, the Made In Chelsea star bagged 56.64 percent of the vote to be crowned the winner, while Tony racked up 43.36 percent.

Zara McDermott - who was unable to fly to Australia to meet her boyfriend on the famous bridge - shared a clip on Instagram showing Sam's family and friends jumping and screaming with joy when Ant and Dec announced he'd won.

The former Love Island star, 26, wrote: "The moment we all found out… OUR KING OF THE JUNGLE!!!"

Zara first started dating Sam in 2019. She rose to fame after starring on Love Island. She more recently joined Strictly Come Dancing before taking the boot.
