Paddy McGuinness describes own horror crash ordeal on now-axed Top Gear

He also referred to co-host Freddie Flintoff's crash incident

PADDY McGuinness has described his own crash ordeal and said he lost touch with Top Gear co-host Freddie Flintoff after the ex-cricketer’s show accident.

The presenter revealed he only kept tabs on him through their hairdresser.

Talking on the Restless Natives podcast about the now-axed motoring series, Paddy said: “I was in this race in America.

"I hit a wall at about 70 or 80 miles an hour.

"You could feel your brains rattling.

"Thank the Lord I walked away from it.

"But I remember that night being in my bed at the hotel and literally having a bit of a panic attack.”

Referring to Freddie’s crash on the BBC show last year, he added: “It stays with you.

"Especially what he’s gone through.”
