The longtime host of the BBC morning show took to social media as he penned a heartfelt tribute to the stand-in co-hosts.
Sally, 52, took a break from BBC Breakfast so she could travel down to London to compete in the Christmas special of Strictly Come Dancing.
As such Jon, 54, has taken to the airwaves alongside the likes of Sarah Campbell, Tina Daheley and Rachel Burden.
All three of the hosts are popular with fans and the journalist posted a collage of behind-the-scenes snaps on Instagram.
Each duo of presenters gave their own pose but it's clear Jon enjoyed their company as he beamed in every shot.
