I’m A Celeb fans fuming at campmate’s behaviour saying ‘it’s just not funny – it’s unacceptable’

Social media users have raged over his antics once again.

I'M A Celebrity fans have been left fuming at one campmate's behaviour - saying, 'It's just not funny - it's unacceptable.'

During last night's episode, Sam Thompson, 31, was seen throwing stones at a sleeping Tony Bellew, 41.

Made In Chelsea’s Sam has flung himself at the boxer, and many viewers have previously claimed the sportsman “hates” the eager reality star.

It has made for hilarious scenes, though, as Sam tries to check his enthusiasm around tough guy Tony.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, social media users have raged over his antics once again.

One wrote, "Unpopular opinion but sam really gets on my nerves sometimes especially when he was there clearly ‘poking the bear’ provoking tony into waking up when he was clearly trying to sleep maybe i’m just getting old but I wouldn’t find that funny whatsoever."

Another added, "If they haven't already (and I suspect they might've), the powers that be need to tell Sam to calm down his focus on Tony. He threw something that whacked the poor guy in the eye. It isn't on, Peter Pan needs to grow up!"

Someone else agreed, "I know they've earmarked him to win, but #Sam throwing stones at #tony whilst he's trying to have a kip is unacceptable… #gameplayer #tvtime…"

We previously revealed how ITV bosses want to give Tony and Sam their own show off the back of their jungle bromance.

A source said telly chiefs were “fascinated” with the pair’s “unlikely friendship”.

They told us: “The jungle always brews up unlikely friendships and bromances but we’ve not seen one like Sam and Tony’s before.

“What started off as annoyance is clearly now morphing into something more brotherly and it makes for great telly.

“Execs are brainstorming ideas but they want to look at something like a travel show.”

ITV has form for creating spin-offs from reality formats.

Jordan North and Beverley Callard made travel series Destination Wedding after palling up in 2020’s I’m A Celeb.

  • I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! continues tonight on ITV1 and ITVX.
