Paddy McGuinness admits ‘my money has run out’ as he returns to touring for first time in eight years after Top Gear axe
PADDY McGuinness has revealed his 'money has run out' as he announces a huge UK tour.
The former Top Gear, presenter, 50, announced his first comedy show in eight years.
It comes after the BBC confirmed the motoring show had been axed following Freddie Flintoff's horror crash while filming.
And now Paddy has admitted that his bank balance has taken a bruising.
Appearing on This Morning to promote the upcoming gig, McGuinness was asked by Emma Willis and Rylan Clark how the tour came about.
Paddy replied: "Erm, well the money's run out now so it took about eight years to spend it all and I'm like, 'I've got to build it back up'.

"So weirdly, writing a tour does take a lot of your time. When we had the break from Top Gear, I'd been planning it for a long time, I went, 'There's a window there'."
Despite Top Gear leaving the schedules, Paddy has been kept busy with multiple high-profile presenting gigs.
Earlier this year the Phoenix Nights star hosted Channel 4's new reality show Tempting Fortune.
The dad-of-three also fronts the Beeb's A Question of Sport.
